ATLANTA BUSINESS LEADERS INITIATIVE
ON CANCER PREVENTION AND TREATMENT
Since 2003, the Atlanta Business Leaders Initiative (ABLI) has worked in coalition with employers, community organizations, and prominent local citizens to improve the health and well being of people working and living in Atlanta.
Mental Health America of Georgia (MHA of GA) is partnering with ABLI in its latest initiative, which aims to implement evidence-driven treatment recommendations for the prevention and treatment of cancer by disseminating information to employers who provide health plan benefits, health and productivity programs, and wellness programs.
The goal of this project is to determine and support a common approach for designing and administering employer benefits associated with the prevention and treatment of cancer. More specifically, the role of MHA of GA in this project is to better understand the behavioral medicine delivery system for cancer care in Georgia.
