Ramona has trained with Mental Health America of Georgia since 2013, and has taught over 15 youth and adult courses throughout the state. Ramona currently runs a family support organization (Creative Partnership & Training for Families) in which she provides trainings for a variety of diverse organizations. As a Certified Peer Specialist, she is proud to use Mental Health First Aid techniques in her everyday work and life.
She is also certified in Whole Health Action Management. Additional professional qualifications include: a QPR instructor, DeKalb County NAMI family support group trainer, and a chapter affiliate of Georgia Parent Support Network. In her role with the Georgia Parent Support Network, she mentors and offers support to parents raising children with emotional and or substance use challenges.
Ramona is willing to travel anywhere to facilitate trainings but requires advanced notice. She is also available during evening hours and weekends to teach QPR at any location.
