Paige Gaines a native of Atlanta, Ga uses her own lived experience to serve her community as a mental health advocate. Paige is the Leadership Empowerment & Access program (LEAP) Specialist with Mental Health America of Georgia. With a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Kennesaw State University, she believes in providing the community with useful education to combat stigma. She is a Certified Peer Specialist, Question Persuade Refer (QPR) instructor, suicide prevention and intervention instructor and has experience working with youth and young adults. At just 29, Paige Gaines has already made a name for herself nationwide as a sought-after speaker and prominent mental health activist. A two-time suicide survivor diagnosed with bipolar disorder at the age of 22– making her life’s journey full of adversity, strength, and impact.
