Bill is a Georgia Certified Peer Specialist in Mental Health. He grew up in the Madison, Georgia and attended Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina where he received a BA in Economics. He spent his career in computer informatics in healthcare and project management.
Bill has always had a heart and passion for helping people, especially people with mental health and addictive challenges. He has a strong belief in the strength-based approach and trauma-informed care. After he was in recovery, it became clear that his purpose was to pour his experience and knowledge to those who are struggling.
Bill volunteers at his church’s Care and Counseling Ministry as a Renew Mentor. Bill and his wife Dana have several animals and love to take walks in the Georgia mountains.
